The trailhead is 2.7 miles north of Brighton and 1.6 miles south of Route 151 and Route 16 Junction.

How to Follow the Route:
Walking directions for following the route:
Follow the road around the northern end of the Smith Pond to the start of the trail. The trail goes right following the telephone line. It travels through open woods for 1 mile and then more steeply for .5 mile.
